You have a lovely house, a beautiful home! I like the ambience!
Pretty, pretty kitchen. Does Dulce do a lot of cooking here? Or you maybe.
You've got an excellent camera eye! Was the interior design a collaborative effort with the wifey?
Are there bedrooms on the 1st floor?
The guys dominate: it's definitely masculine.

Ah, so the family room directly connects to the kitchen. Very convenient.
Lovely! I remember Hinunangan and my lolas who have all passed away - Lola Toria, Lola Meona ... They had this small house in Ilaja ( Ilaya ).
This is so cool! Do you ever get lonely here, too?
What's that at the back? A hill?
Did you plant the kalamansi?
Jerome, how about the neighbors? Are they so far away, or just nearby? Do you have friendly community?
The study can double as a bedroom. We opted to use it as a study. We keep our family books there and that's where we keep the main computer and fax machine.
The tv was my Father's Day gift to myself. The furniture was Dulce's idea.
We found this oil painting in a souvenir shop in the Mactan International Airport. My maternal great grandparents were in the fishing business. The framing here in the U.S. cost eight times more than the painting.
Yes, this is a feature we've always liked in a house. Our first house also had the family room connected to the kitchen.
We love this picture. It just brings a flood of memories of the homeland everytime we look at it.
Dulce does a lot of the cooking and sometimes I pitch in. But my Mom sometimes stays with us, so she also cooks for us. It's hard to really keep the cooking area clean.
I get lonely when I'm the only one left in the house. Luckily the neighbors are near so there is always some kind of noise to make you feel like you're not alone.
Our house is built on the slope of a mountain. Behind the water tank you see is the Los Angeles National Forest. We have wild deer wandering into our front lawn lots of times and they just help themselves to our plants.
Yes, we did. We found a two-foot tall seedling in one of the plant nurseries in Pasadena and immediately bought it right after we moved into the house. It is just full of kalamansi and we harvest every year. We give bags full to our neighbor who is a Filipina married to an Chinese-American.
On the opposite side of the white fence is a neighbor. We have a neighbor on both sides of our house and at the back. It's a very friendly community with whites, Asians, Armenians and Hispanics. My son goes trick or treating in the neighborhood sometimes.
May I join in the Chat? Wow this is a DREAM! Jeromme! Ya gotta invite me there!! I wish to do a on-do-spot Painting for you folks there! Please, please..it would be an honor! I just can't wait to be in California! And Dulce's touch is in every nook and cranny of your home...
Dulz, when are you vacationing again in California? Is it this Christmastime?
Hello Jerome! I took a peek inside your home. Beautiful!
