Wow! I didn't know you were a big family. Among your siblings, I know only Edgar ( my brainy classmate!), Omar ( Aida's classmate!), and YOU. How come I never got to know the rest? By the way, how's Edgar? Where's he? Please say hello to him for me.
Mama actually bore 11 but one died in utero. All the other children after me went to Leyte Normal Laboratory School also. As is the case with most big families, the first three or four are usually more visible and known. Mano Edgar is now the OIC of the Professional Regulatory Commission for Region 8. He's been the Assistant Regional Director for several years. I'll tell him you said hello.
I looked again at this photo you have with your mama, and I go wishing I could be like her - young-looking, hale and hearty, and obviously enjoying her sense of self as she gets on in years.
My Mom was tickled pink at your remark. It has helped though that she is in the U.S. and can avail of good healthcare. We try to keep her execise regular by taking her with us when we go for brisk walking around the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. She goes only halfway - which is already quite a distance. It helps keep the "rayuma" away and helps her get better sleep at night.
Hi, Jerome! How's Edgar? I knew you as the "apo" of Mrs. Cruz. I also studied at Leyte Normal. I remember, some years before she passed away, I visited your lola with some of my classmates.
Hi, Jerome! I'm just "leafing through" your site and exploring the multiply system as a whole. Proof enough, I guess, that our yahoogroup is more private. hehehehe.
